Lower Oconee Community Hospital is a 25 bed critical access hospital located in Wheeler County Georgia. Lower Oconee Community Hospital is a Joint Commission Accredited Hospital and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. An emergency physician is always on staff.

In addition to critical care, Lower Oconee Community Hospital has respiratory therapy, physical therapy, an orthodontic surgeon, a general surgeon, a podiatrist, and family practitioners on staff.
